Medical marijuana sales in Arizona grew by 41% from 2017 to 2018, outpacing the growth of the patient pool by 2-to-1, according to a new report.
The state health department reports that medical cannabis patients consumed nearly 122,000 pounds of marijuana in 2018, up from 87,000 pounds in 2017.
However, the number of patients increased 20%, to just over 186,000, in the same time period, Capitol Media Services reported.
